The d’Amboise Gate
Our meeting point. We step through the walls into the medieval city.

The Knights’ Quarter
The heart of the Order of Saint John: stone façades, coats of arms and arcades.

The Palace of the Grand Masters
The fortress-palace of the Knights. Entrance fees are not included.

The Street of the Knights
We walk down the cobbled street where the Knights had their inns.

The Hospital of the Knights
At the foot of the street, the great hospital of the Order.

The Muslim quarter
We pass the pink Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent.

Mandraki harbour
Into the New Town: the Italian-era buildings and the columns with the stag and the doe.
